At Onepointsix, we were tasked with the challenge of designing an enclosure to house Greensync’s world-class electronics. Greensync is a leading provider of distributed energy resource management systems. Our client not only requested a strong and aggressive design for the external enclosure but also asked us to come up with an internal solution to mount the black box technology.
The first step in our design process was to gather as much information as possible about Greensync's needs and preferences. We thoroughly reviewed their website and previous projects we have done for them to get an idea of the company's design style and brand image. We then brainstormed and sketched out various ideas and concepts for the enclosure, considering Greensync's request for a strong, aggressive design that would stand out on the wall.
Through this iterative process, we were able to arrive at a final design that met all of Greensync's specifications. Our team designed an enclosure that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing, with a strong and aggressive appearance that would stand out on any wall. The internals were also designed to perfectly fit the PRU unit, ensuring that all black box technology could be securely mounted and protected.
Onepointsix went on to manufacture and supply PRU units for Greensync’s product roll outs. Combining knowledge and suppliers in sheet metal and electronics assembly Onepointsix supplied PRU over several years.
Overall, we are proud of the work we have done in collaboration with Greensync, and we believe that the final product reflects our dedication to quality and innovation. We are excited to continue our partnership with Greensync and look forward to working on future projects that push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of distributed energy resource management systems.
